Mikey and I decided over dinner that it would be a good idea to drive to the levy, put in the canoe, and float downstream to the St. Charles boat landing where we would carry the 90-pound boat and all of our gear back to my house six blocks away.

We caught Drum off the levy all of which had red coming out of there bums.

Mikey picked up a few rock bass as we floated by the unlabeled mills in downtown Winona.

We were passed by a barge as we floated down the main channel.

I picked up an 18-inch Smallmouth near the mouth of the boat harbor.

I made it home carrying the 90-pound Wenonah canoe with a yoke with no pads.
