Bella had a rough night last night. Something got into her that left her shaking and uncomfortable.

She needed to go fishing.

We headed west into the county and ended up at Beaver Bridge in the Whitewater Management Area. The water was high and fast. I put on an ounce of lead and fished the tail of the pool with suckers on my wish list and a crawler on my hook.

I ended up landing my first White Sucker of the year and a few Brown Trout.

Bella enjoyed playing in the muddy banks of the Whitewater River. She dug and dug looking for prizes. She came up with one crayfish that she dropped at my feet. I caught the trout on that crayfish.

I never imagined that one day I would have a dog that would dig bait for me when I brought her fishing.
