Sat on the tailgate of the pick-up with dad most of the morning. We got to watch a wild flower bloom into the afternoon. Midge flying and fish taking them. Way to much traffic here to fish. So we just enjoy the day. I picked a few stonefly larvae out of the creek.

Haded over to the middle branch to cook lunch. Managed a few dozen chubs and no redhorse which we were after.

Creeks clear and low.
